Languedoc Transit License: The Gaelic Wyvern Inn - Sand-Viper - 11-15-2025

Fair Winds, dear reader!

On behalf of the Gaelic Wyvern Inn, I am submitting a request for a Languedoc Transit Permit.

Until a few days ago, we were content in avoiding the Restricted Jump Gate connecting Tau-23 to Languedoc, favoring the Giant's Causeway pass through Orkney.

However, as of last Tuesday, upon jumping into Languedoc from Orkney's Jump Hole, we found ourselves inside of a dense minefield that screamed "KEEP OUT," to me!

After an on-the-spot double-check of Gallic Union Laws and Regulations, I found there to be no obvious restriction of travel into Gallia, via the Orkney-to-Languedoc Jump Hole. As we had a guest accompanying us to Gallia, I saw no reason to simply to turn around after coming so far, especially since despite the presence of a minefield, we did not appear to be breaking any laws.

Thankfully, I was able to safely see us through to New Paris, but that incident has me wanting to cover our bases. A proper travel license would allow us to visit Gallia more often!

As the Gaelic Wyvern supplies itself via ingredients from Cambridge and New Tokyo, our go-to way to reach Gallia is through the Taus. Being able to transit through the far safer, and frequently patrolled Tau-23<>Languedoc gate passage, would be a huge boon for us!

As we are sometimes accompanied by guest or security ships, it would also be ideal if anyone accompanying the Inn is allowed to transit alongside us, as well.

Kind Regards,
~Ozei Ruousha

The discretion you've shown in choosing to request a license from this office speaks to your efforts to abide by our laws in both letter and spirit. With all of that said, your application has been approved. If you have any further issues, please feel free to reach out to the relevant governmental department.

Au revoir,
