PSA: Regarding the PoB issues following a server restart - Dec 27th - Luke. - 12-28-2025 Good morning. We sincerely apologise for the PoB issues that occurred following a server restart a little earlier. We must stress that this did not affect every PoB, but due to a problem that occurred, a rollback had to happen to a date further back than expected. This date is December 18th, a few hours before holiday mode was turned on. If you are affected, please submit a PoB Request via this link with what was lost and we'll do our best to compensate. This may not be immediate so please don't hound us about it, and any proof of what was lost would be helpful. Please include a ship-name that you were hauling on when building a module for example, and the PoB name. We're acutely aware that a lot of proof may not be possible, but even this mitigates bad actors. Most of you should've had a PM from me or another admin about the request you submitted. Apologies again for this unexpected issue, this was due to a combination of factors that in isolation wouldn't have been a problem but just so happened to occur simultaneously overnight. We have since taken measures to add additional checks and monitoring to ensure that an incident like this doesn't occur again in future. Thanks, Firesilver |
