. .Sup everyone. During one of the last major patches a little while ago, the Starfliers ship called the "Vector" was released into the game's open market. I'd like to ask the community to throw in their thoughts and feeling on the ship - good and bad. Get the general reception, see what people love about, hate about it and everything inbetween. Hi hi, I've been using it for a while, on and off, depending on whether I wanna mine sci-data or just fly with it.
I appreciate the fact that everyone can use it. Though not cheap, it's essentially a better Corvo, though not armed, but the Corvo, though a while ago, allegedly was a good ship for PVP (Apparently?).
The jettisoning animation is very cool, though extremely situational.
I know you've selected the Order engines since you like them, but I think it would've been better if the option to change the engine would've still be present. (i.e. having the Order engine look as default engine, and still having the engine), I don't know if it's because of limitations or not, but still. It's really the engines for me that kinda bothers me. Then again, if its a limitation (I think we briefly talked about it, I don't remember, apologies), we can't do anything about it. I would've loved to put a CNO-X or CNO-U engine on it.
In short, I really like my unarmed research vessel. Makes sense since now, with Hangar Provisions, you can more efficiently "mine" scientific data. And it is a killer look for a freighter.

The ship is cool,
It has a few decent uses- I'd say its perks do not out weigh the fact it has no guns. (Cant be used for regular mining)
Regardless, it's a really cool & unique ship.

Bought one on the day it released - still the best-in-class Earhart miner.
Also, Order engines = best engines.

I was going to correct Kherty about how they are merely similar to Order engines, but they are in fact just Order engines.
Now that they're 550, the ship works fine, but my feedback is that if you have a unique engine, it certainly should have a unique effect as well.

That's it, that's what's been bothering me about the uniqueness, the order engine, the Vector needs it's own to be true.
