I acknowledge receipt of your message and the Organization’s decision to dispatch a diplomatic channel.

I am Friedrich Krüger, speaking with the mandate of the Unioners operating out of Pacifica and the wider Rheinland labor network. My role is to coordinate external relations where Unioner operations intersect with allied or adjacent movements.

Our crews have indeed crossed paths with those of Istres, Quimper, and Bordeaux in Cologne, Zurich, and Champagne alike. In each of those theaters, our cooperation with the Maquis was not abstract or symbolic, but proven in the field, under fire, and in defense of workers facing suppression by the GN and RM.

At present, I am authorized to speak on behalf of the Unioner detachments active in Champagne and the logistical elements supporting the worker uprising on Marne. For operational matters on the ground, Maquis cells retain their own autonomy for coordination, deconfliction, and broader negotiations involving Sirians, I remain your primary point of contact.

We are here in Champagne openly and deliberately, in support of the workers. That reality necessitates cooperation with the Maquis, and it is a cooperation earned through shared risk, not convenience.

Further dialogue is welcome. Clarification achieved is preferable to assumption especially given the history we now share.

Understood — and I’ll answer you plainly, without posturing.

First, a reminder, because context matters.

It was Unioner crews who provided your people with the initial, verifiable information on who was transporting artifacts in this region, where they were being staged, and which transponders were being used to mask those movements. That was done deliberately and in good faith. Not to claim ideological alignment with Gallia, and not to leverage sympathy — but because uncontrolled artifact trafficking endangers workers everywhere, regardless of whose space it passes through.

Second: there is no dispute that Marne is Gallian territory. We have not claimed otherwise, nor are we attempting to override your laws or customs. Our involvement has been limited to cooperation where our interests briefly aligned — nothing more.

Now, to the concerns you raised.

The Union does not authorize artifact smuggling for profit, nor piracy against civilian traffic. If a vessel carrying a Unioner transponder was observed transporting artifacts, then one of two things applies:
– the transponder was cloned or misused, which has happened before, or
– An independent cell acted without Union authorization and will be addressed internally.

That distinction matters. We are prepared to investigate this seriously but not under blanket accusations or threats.

Regarding alleged attacks on GMS traffic: there is no standing Unioner directive to target Gallian workers or worker-owned enterprises. If such incidents occurred, we need specific timestamps and locations. Without those, this remains conjecture rather than dialogue.

Which brings me to the most important point.

Before this conversation proceeds any further, I need to know who I am speaking to.

Not a collective. Not an institution.
A name, a role, and the authority under which you speak.

You already know who I am. That was intentional.
If continued communication is expected, that transparency must be mutual.
