Esteemed members of the Harris Alliance, the Kingdom of Bretonia, the Empire of Kusari,
I bring to you today information on the subject of Gallic movements within the Taus. Every member nation of this alliance has been discovering their recent activity having to deal with gallic navy battlefleets ranging from Tau-44, Tau-29, and Edinburgh. With their recent demands regarding the return of the tau-23 ->31 jump gate to gallic possession. It is safe to assume they will inevitably take action on these demands. Crayter pathfinders have discovered a gallic naval intelligence hideout within Tau-23 and is acting, likely, as their beachhead for operations into our nations sovereign space.
Patrols have increasingly intercepted transports originating from Gallia within the Taus in attempt to break our collective embargos placed against the Gallic Union. I believe we can collectively agree and accept that the Gallic Union will not ever completely comply fully with the demands of the Leviathan accords and will lash out in aggression soon. We must take a different course of action to ensure the peace or prosperity of our countries future. While reaching a possible resolution with the Gallic Union.
The Crayter Republics Ministry of Defense and Fleet Admiralty has deemed it necessary to first remove the threat of a gallic hideout in Tau-23 as it posses a threat to rare mineral extraction and vital merchant travel through the system. The Crayter Republic intends to enforce Chapter 2 Section 1 of the Treaty of Harris. A taskforce is been readied from Coronado to rendezvous with the Livingston garrison at planet Harris to take out the station. With the collapse of the barrier pass following a natural disaster, siege armaments are unable to traverse the barrier nebula and will have to pass through Bretonian systems of Manchester and New Castle to set course for the Taus. The Crayter Republic humbly asks the Kingdom of Bretonia for this taskforces clearance and escort through open space in New Castle as it makes its way to Tau-31.
I encourage the members of this alliance to aid the Crayter military in this operation, and I await the responses of the honorable allies of the Harris alliance.

We are grateful for Crayter's commitment to the safeguarding of Tau-23. Your patrols did an excellent job finding this installation. The Naval Forces will not bore themselves or you with politics and implications held by this Gallic breach of agreements, instead we will simply put forward adequate measures. Reserve units are being drafted to Tau-29 to prepare for a joint operation ensuring the destruction of this outpost as we speak.

The encroachment of Gallia into the Taus is of dire concern for Bretonia, as it is for all signatories to the Harris Treaty.
Bretonia strongly condemns Gallia's flagrant violations of the Treaty of Rishiri, and the infringement of the territorial interests of the signatories of the Treaty of Harris.
Bretonia considers the deployment of an intelligence or military facility within Tau-23 to be an act of aggression. As a result, Bretonia stands firm in supporting the Crayter Republic in their invocation of Chapter 1, Clause 8 of the Harris Treaty.
Officers of the Admiralty have received orders to represent Bretonia's strategic interests robustly in resolving the matter, and will be contacting the Allied command structure to coordinate a collective response.

The Admiralty Board stands wholly in agreement with the sentiment of our partners that pre-emptive action against any elements belonging to, or sympathetic to the Gallic regime remains the only path forward to peace, and to preventing another calamity on the scale of the Glassing of Leeds. A fact already underscore by His Excellency, Mr. Thompson, the Kingdom of Bretonia cannot and shall not stand idle as Gallic vessels once more march out to establish a foothold within Sirius. To that end, the Armed Forces shall contribute several war vessels of up to cruiser-class, under command of Commodore Harold Sommerville.
We also wish to bring upon the attention of the signatories that the Admiralty Board remains greatly concerned with the recent conduct of IMG assets in the Tau region, and will thusly position this support force within the Holman Junction to deter any radical elements of the IMG from aiding the Gallic authorities, and to ensure the security of our logistical routes for this combined military effort. This strategic location will allow both a rapid response should Union forces attempt to resist, and send a clear message to all in the Taus that the Harris Alliance stands united against any and all sympathisers of the regime in New Paris.
The Admiralty Board shall continue monitoring this channel, and provide updated on the situation within Tau-31.
