FR11 - Forward Operating Base requests - jammi - 02-02-2026

Faction Right 11 allows for the deployment of a Forward Operating Base (FOB). These are core 2 POBs equipped with 2 storage modules, and a free module slot that can be filled with a module of the faction's choosing.

FOBs can be deployed within a faction's Zone of Influence (ZOI), and adjacent systems. When a FOB is deployed, the system counts as a part of the ZOI for the owning Official Faction and any associated independent players.

The FOB does not require upkeep goods for wear and tear, and you do not need to supply the core crew with Food and Consumer Goods.

You will need to provide these goods to any additional crew required by the extra module you install, for example the crew associated with refineries, hydroponics, or manufacturing.

FOBs come equipped with infinite restocks, allowing it to be used as a staging point for resupplying ships.

NOTE: Following internal discussion, FOBs no longer provide a 30 minute reduction to death cooldown timers.

Similar to a siege declaration, an Official Faction must provide evidence of reasonable documented roleplay for the deployment.
