Private Server - Mining Areas - oOKaneOo - 02-23-2026
Greetings...
I downloaded the discovery files and set up a private server for my kids. We wanted to mine uncut diamonds and I noticed there is no area in the omega 11 system. Inside the flhook plugin folder the area for mining points to omega 2, but I think it should be omega 11. Are those files outdated?
Would be nice if sb can point me in the right direction how to update the files or to change the areas...

As far as i see @oOKaneOo
Uncut Diamons in discovery were replaced by new "Nu Mining" approach, where mining happens by shooting big asteroids as far as i heard
I suspect Flhook stuff is necessary for it to function properly.
The Nu Mining field for Uncut diamons in omega 11 by 14096 430 1022 coords
https://discoverygc.com/gameconfigpublic/minecontrol_nodes.cfg data about mined Nu fields is taken from this config
Any mining fields shown in "Ore Routes" without suffix (Nu) should be working without properly configured flhook

Thx for your quick response... as far I can see my files ( from a fresh discovery download, install, and update ) are from 2023, at least the mining ones... the cfg you mentioned wasn't installed at all... I attached a screenshot with the files from the install... Is it ok when I download all files from https://discoverygc.com/gameconfigpublic/ and replace the files from the screenshot?

@oOKaneOo , You are free to download all files from https://discoverygc.com/gameconfigpublic/
But beware that your server dlls in game folder at EXE (which are used for server too)
Are all outdated, from some kind of 2017 year.
Latest dlls possible to receive only by compiling them from there https://github.com/Aingar/FLHook/tree/master
