"The question I asked isn't just idle chatter. I'd like a performance evaluation—not so much of my own as a pilot, but of the instrument I deployed today." "We both understand that the Militants are very limited in their weapons selection. With our operations moving to Pennsylvania, I won't have the same abundance of spare parts as I did on the Valravn. And the Bottlenose will probably cost us the equivalent of two Condors, plus the hassle. But I think the Arondight might be worth it." "So I'd give it a try. Maybe I'll actually get those Hacker girls involved. I don't know how much the Exarchy will object, but considering we're willing to work with some of the Xenos, no reason to shy away from the Hackers." connection terminated
RE: Marjorie Ward || Locksmith - Weapon - 03-04-2026 ![]() signal source: HFB Incursus establishing secure connection... video feed active fm: FAdm. Ward, Marjorie to: FCpt. Freud, Roland subject: Halfway Happy Doing my utmost to put aside the grievances I have with your exotic choice of militarily hardware as it pertains to optics and soft power in the region, the Arondight's combat performance has been beyond satisfactory, but sourcing spare parts as you've no doubt already encountered is a major logistical hurdle. Our runs between Valravn and Pinnacle must necessarily consist of materiel which benefits the whole of our campaign for Erie, not simply your personal preferences, Freud. So I've a compromise. One major sortie per month, and only if the circumstances are dire, should you bring the Arondight to bear. That should represent a tolerable level of logistical throughput and maintenance downtime to alleviate my practical concerns on the matter. As for my more opinionated ones, the Lovelace chicas get by just fine with their Conference boats from what I've seen. They even seem to come in blue. signal source identified: pennsylvania system establishing secure connection... playback initiated from: Locksmith to: Marjorie Ward subject: Exotics "Fleet Admiral." "Hm. I wish I knew in advance which sorties would truly require such dire straits. You know how it is. Plans can change in a matter of seconds." "Regarding the Lovelace, I was considering contacting them as a supplier for some of the spare parts. I think it would be easier to get something from them than having to go to the Valravn every time." "With all due respect to the Zoners and their cause... the Conference has serious flaws. It's a large and less maneuverable target, and its design doesn't include point-defense turrets on the underside of the ship, leaving that area blind and extremely vulnerable. I tested this ship and was shot down in one of the skirmishes in Coronado against the LSF, who were aided by the Order. My current predictions are that the Condor should perform better. I would advice using it instead as our workhorse." connection terminated
