Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - ophidian - 05-28-2009 Alright; Atum in Alaska (Order) is neutral to LN patrols while LN ships rip you apart near it in your Order ship. This has a logical problem. Either Atum should be hostile to LN patrols or LN patrols should be neutral to Order within Alaska space. What do you say? Its rather not fitting and VERY OORP while an Order cruiser is being swarmed under fire while the battleship near watchs the hazy sun of Alaska and enjoys the "neutrality". Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - Guest - 05-28-2009 ' Wrote:Alright; I bringed that point before, and I was answered that it's because the Atum is supposed to be cloaked. Very silly when you know it asks flight details to nearby LN patrols. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - ophidian - 05-28-2009 Atum is cloaked and other ships in same class and technology can't? ... Ok I have this idea; Since we and LN usually RP in Alaska about smugglers and we keep away from their part and stick to 1-2-3rd vectors while LN does the same and usually sticks to 4-5-6-7-8, we can remove the LN spawns in that areas (1-2-3) so that we won't be facing with hostile ships near neutral base all the time, what do you say? Its like an agreement, like a neutral zone. We dont cross, they don't cross. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - Derkylos - 05-28-2009 LN NPCs act at all times as neutral to Order NPCs. They will scan each other (well, LN will announce scanning of Order ships), but no engagements will actually take place, even within Omicron Minor. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - ophidian - 05-29-2009 Well, why they are attacking me then? If they are attacking me, why they are not attacking the Order NPC. Are we Out of Order? Or ar they some disOrder? I cannot come up with a sufficient answer truly. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - Derkylos - 05-29-2009 They're attacking you because, in order to get an Order tag, you have to take missions against the Navy. It's the same deal as when you park a Navy character at Juneau while hostile to Order NPCs...the base and all the passing capitol patrols will completely ignore you... Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - Tommeh - 05-29-2009 It happened me once while I was on patrol in Alaska.I met usual LN patrol:1 Crusier,2 gunboats and few fighters,I was 4,5k from Atum, they cd'd me,but I managed to reach Atum with thruster and hide behind it. I didn't want to dock because I wanted to see how will Atum rip LN patrol. And so I was like"hehe, now they will get what they deserve, hehe" and then nothing. They started to fire on me and Atum was just neutral, even few hits from LN cruiser main gun hit it but nothing. So,yes it's stupid that LN patrols are neutral to Atum and Order npc's patrols and vice versa, but they are not to Order players. NPCs that are hostile to you are not hostile because of your reputation with the Order, but because of your reputation with the Liberty Navy is hostile. Your repsheet is what influences NPC reactions towards you, and not the other way around. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - Cellulanus - 05-29-2009 Wait- Order NPCs are still not hostile to LN NPCs? That is odd. Atum being Neutral to LN in Alaska - darthbeck - 05-29-2009 so its OORP for us to be hostile with the navy..... wait what? |
