Greetings Vrihedd, been a while since we have last spoken yes?

We have helped each other with a few operations in the past, including the deep Omega exploration. However I declare it is about time we do another one. This isn't going to be in the Omegas though, but rather somewhere indescribable. About a year ago, one our fleet assets, the War Vessel "Secunda" had a jumpdrive malfunction. This was during the final moments of the Delta siege of the Corsair installation, Reincarnation, and they ended up in a rather strange place.

For a few days we had no contact with them, but when they finally did send a contact, what they sent was rather bizarre. My goal personally, is to find out if it's possible to return to this strange area of space and explore what we can for data collection and artifact archive purposes. Reason being it is unlike anything I have seen before. I have already sent word to our battlegroup "Vigilant," and they will arrive in seven days' time to their gathering point. That ship has the means to transport a fleet via one of our finest jumpdrives, but if it falls out there, they will be screwed getting back. The "Secunda" in question, is sadly only capable of jumping itself.

I'd like to request a cooperation between ARM and LSS forces once again, for our mutual benefit as always. Any help you could send would be great, escorts, miners, science ships, anything that would be useful on an expedition like this. We do not know what is out there, and we will have to embrace the dark to make progress with it. One more thing, If we do find a way back there and you do choose to join them, I won't be able to guarantee anyone's safety. I have no data on what was sent back to us, nor any previous records stored anywhere within our own personal archives.

This will take a lot of risk and a major group effort to make this run smoothly. What I specifically request during the operation is that LSS forces defend all ships, especially the "Vigilant" as that will be your only way back. As well as trust the "Secunda" as your guide, since they have the most information about this area. In return, I offer any data to be shared between us.

I will await your answer with your thoughts on this, Duke out.

Duke.

Been a while. Good to hear your voice isn't static. You had me at "somewhere indescribable." You really had me at "jumpdrive malfunction into unknown space." That's the kind of problem that keeps people like us employed and everyone else terrified. Answer simple: LSS is in.

Assets committed: command element - myself, escorts - there will be some. Fully combat-capable, with extended fuel pods, etc. We kinda know that kind of bussiness.

Vigilant is priority one. If that drive fails, this becomes a very expensive funeral. My lads will orbit that ship like angry moons. Data sharing is absolute. What you find, we find. What we find, you find. No redactions, no "need to know." This isn't diplomacy. This is exploration from those who steps bravely into the dark. So, all assets can rendezvous with Vigilant's battlegroup within days of your confirmation. I will already do the spinning up of fuel pods as you read. You can't guarantee safety, tha's what you mentioned. Well, LSS operates where guarantees stop and competence starts, so do <ARM>.

See you in the dark, Duke.

SIGNED, VRIHEDD, CSO

This is good news indeed, they will be awaiting for you in Omega-55 at Dagger outpost.

An expensive funeral indeed, and possibly hundreds of lives lost. I understand that diplomacy isn't needed here, and you are willing to jump in no matter what. With competence comes action, and action is based off of decision making. I hope that this will be a smooth journey, but only you will be able to decide that, and every other soul out there with you when the time comes. I just want to let you know that I don't know what is out there, and I wish you the best of luck.

They are awaiting for your arrival, godspeed.

As strange as this place was, apparently they found some data after all.

This is nothing like I have seen before, ever. I know I have said that before, but still, this is something that cannot be ignored. I did some digging around for any data on this place, and ended up being told that this place has a name, "Earhart." It is clearly related to the nomads, and further studies and expeditions will be sent to collect whatever materials that they can find and see if they can be put to use.

In other words, how was it on your end? It couldn't have been perfect out there. At some point in the logs, it suggests that one of your own did not make it? I am sorry for your loss if that is the case, but we are soldeirs who move on no matter the cost.

Safe skies to you, Duke out.
