Rheinland announces breakthrough in Freiburg bombing
STUTTGART - RFP Lead Commissioner Otto Witbier announced progress in the inquiry into the recent Freiburg Terror Incident in a press conference,

"With a high degree of confidence, the commission has found extensive ties between the Freiburg attackers and radical Bretonian extremist elements backed by certain state actors which are yet to be determined. We are still in the process of identifying three of the sixteen known conspirators, as well as the motives for this attack."

When asked to comment on why security forces failed to prevent the attack, Commissioner Witbier responded,

"It is easy to point fingers at these isolated tragedies, but the women and men in our service work tirelessly with insufficient resources and support to protect the Rheinland people. Our repeated warnings and requests for additional funding and patrol craft have gone neglectfully unanswered for too long. Our requests to do something about the festering criminal cesspool that is Freeport 1, a mere few days away from our borders, have also gone unanswered - all in the interest of appeasing zoners for appearances at the cost of an appalling lack of security and vigilance."

Freeport 1, the first ever established in Sirius, is renowned for its open door policy and neutrality. The vessels used in the attack were previously confirmed to have been registered on the station. The RFP's claim has raised concern among some that Rheinland may be pushing for a crackdown on the base and the Zoner movement as a whole. This would mirror similar actions done by Liberty in Pennsylvania and Bretonia's failed occupation of Planet Gran Canaria. Rheinland officials have yet to comment on what further action, if any, will be taken.

How much Zoner blood must still be spilled to plaster over yet another collapse born of someone else’s staggering incompetence?
Rather than hiding behind a counterfeit Old Earth accent and cooking up frivolous fines to line their pockets, RFP should pull its finger out and make itself useful.
It is the oldest House comedy of all: whenever something breaks, blame the nearest Zoners and call it justice.
And still, you cannot even manage the courtesy of checking the facts. Ames and Freeport 2 were established before the rest. Freeport 1 only named the tradition first.

First they came for Erie
And I did not speak out
Because I was not from Erie
Then they came for Freeport 7
And I did not speak out
Because I was not from Freeport 7
Then they came for Gran Canaria
And I did not speak out
Because I was not from Gran Canaria
Then they came for Freeport 9
And I did not speak out
Because I was not from Freeport 9
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

'bout time those criminals get what they had coming. Freeport my ASS, as the first emperor of Rheinland said "Let justice be done, though the worlds perish". I hope all of them go to jail.

EDIT: some of yall need to have some spine and deal with rules, you anarcho-freaks!

Another house that sees it easier to just blame Zoners when something goes boom without explanation. Another quick conclusion before taking time to dig into the facts of things. Color me not surprised.

Nah, man. This stinks of that classic Rheinland bias. Gotta fabricate that 'great enemy', yeah?

Let's not even mention they came to this conclusion thanks to underfunded and exhausted officers. Is Rheinland that much of a shithole? Is the 'Emperor' too busy gilding his furniture with the people's money to properly fund his own underlings? Was Rheinland better off when the people actually decided who represented them instead of genetics?
The answers to these questions won't surprise you.

Man, fuck this whole timeline. Your god is watching, and he ain't impressed.

MISSIVE FROM THE INTERIOR DIRECTORATE OF THE UTSUNOMIYA COMMONWEALTH
REGARDING POTENTIAL ESCALATION OF FORCE AGAINST FREEPORT 1 BY RHEINLAND

団結すれば我々は立ち上がる。分裂すれば我々は倒れる。
United we Stand, Divided we Fall.

As a member collective of Zoner society at large, we condemn this blatant and predatory rent-seeking behavior from the Rheinland Polizei and the Rheinland Empire.

Whilst Freeport 1 does, yes - have a very loose set of rules that makes the Commonwealth of Utsunomiya look like the Coalition - the onus is on *YOUR* intelligence community, in *YOUR* borders to take care of the matter before it happens, since it happened in *YOUR* house. Why were you not tracking who came in and out of Rheinland? Or monitoring jump holes? Even with our very laissez-faire border policies, we still monitor who is coming and going to be aware of potential threats.

Let this be a warning - any House aggression against any Zoner installation will be met with belligerence from not just our Commonwealth, but Zoner Society at large. Let the suffering the Bretonians, and now Liberty face, be a warning to the Kriegsmarine and their Imperial superiors that will deter Rheinland from humoring this idea any further.

And if they do come, we have two words for them.

You people have the nerve to complain when you hosted a terror cell on your station. Lord Niemann, please come out of the black hole and smite these unholy people! Please sir, please!

I am only responding in a personal capacity on account of the absurdity of this comment - and that I am certain more legitimate ones in its' vein shall follow.

How is a party guilty if they have no idea the activity is going on? You know very well what you are doing by going into such a place. Irregardless, such is the nature of Zoner Society - some are like Freeport 11, where security has been 'turned to 11' as the Libertonian saying goes, and then there are places like this. Rheinland I am certain is welcome to surveil such places as long as it does not encroach on their sovereignty.

Also.. are you one of those Chancellor Niemann cultists I keep hearing about?

Stop that, you're making a fool of yourself here. You see the problem is you people simply aren't as smart as Niemann and can't watch for these things. Niemann's brain was simply more developed than yours.

See to understand the power of Niemann you have to have a truly scientific mind. It's like a complex supercomputer you know. With one hand he could be flying six battleships, and with his right hand he could be building another six. And with his other hand he could be making Rheinland rich while forseeing things that other people like you COULD NOT POSSIBLY SEE.

NIEMANN is simply too smart for you to understand. If Niemann was on that Freeport as soon as those terrorists saw him they would've gone down on their knees and went "No sir Chancellor Niemann please don't send us into the black hole, we're sorry Mister Chancellor Niemann Sir, we didn't know you were here, we wouldn't have even thought of attacking Rheinland". That's the power of great Chancellor Niemann right there.

And while he did that he would've had the Zoners begging to become part of Rheinland to enjoy the great MAJESTY of Chancellor Niemann's rule. The Zoners would've been having the time of their lives under the leadership of Chancellor Niemann. Being under Niemann is like that old story, where you go down to a walk on the beaches of Baden-Baden with someone, and then you look down and see only one set of footprints, and you look up and it's Niemann and you ask "where's the other set of footprints, I thought you were walking with me" and he goes "I was carrying you the whole time". Niemann is truly blessed.
