It is most unfortunate that this means further separation from your family, but rest assured, they will benefit from the generous Government Issued Relocation Support Package while you continue to serve your sentence here on Denver.

It is quite the coincidence, however, a very recent shift of operational focus resulted in a certain vacancy. A gap of sorts, pertaining investigations in the Pennsylvania system. As you are aware, Liberty shows continued interest in pest control.

Now, you and I both know of the circumstances that lead to your sentence. You served Liberty well before, and you could do it once more. Of course, not in official capacity. Of course, this would unfortunately mean that your family would no longer be eligible for the Erie Relocation Program, and your wife and children would need to stay in Crichton Springs indefinitely, continuing their academic careers as opposed to assisting in the assembly of the Erie planetside refineries. A shame, really. Missing out on the adventure, the yet to be tamed megafauna, as well as the cultural exchanges with the graciously welcomed former Zoner population.

For the time being, we will use this channel to communicate, as meeting you in person would just raise suspicion. Rest assured, not even a Lane Hacker would be able to peek in here. Let's just say we stepped up our game after a certain CNS hack.

The new ship we provided you is a Kestrel-class freighter. The bare minimum, both in quality and equipment. There'll be a basic refreshing course on Valley Forge in the Pennsylvania system, so that's where you'll be heading first. Good way to blend in, if you ask me. Once you finish the course, try and see if you can get some simple jobs, specifically those that keep you in Pennsylvania. With the current climate, I'm sure there is always someone needed. They are still mining the rocks and gases in the Ralston Ice Field behind Erie, just follow those buoys. There's also a Junker outpost in the system, near that race track at Sayre. They probably needs some throwaway guys for simple jobs.

Make some money, get a different ship and better equipment, and show presence. Make people notice you in the system. They'll eventually prod you and try to find out whether you're malleable enough.

Once you made contact, keep gaining their trust. You'll be playing the long game. Don't rush anything, Keep your comm device out of people's sight. There's a reason we made the prop look the way it does. Don't contact me or any other LSF assets, your family or anyone of your previous life with any other device. I think that goes without saying - but just to be sure.

The main goal of the operation is to have you in place in case they do a big move.

• Gain their trust, and let them lead you to their base of space operations in the Pennsylvania system.
  
• Infiltrate their base of operations. No sabotage. Avoid participation in their military actions. Maintain cover.
  
• We suspect we had a leak in the past few months, pertaining the names of our operatives on Erie. Investigate.
  
• Report intel on critical activity.
  
• (Optional) Survive.

Keep in mind you will be operating on your own, Agent. My wing will periodically patrol the system. Your comm device will ping you in case you get in range. Keep that in mind if you need to extract. Apart from that, there won't be any backup. If you squawk Zoner or their new Militant IFF, nobody will tell the Navy or LPI that you're one of our guys.

One more thing. The situation with Kusari is worsening by the day. With their jump drives, they might see Liberty assets in Pennsylvania as targets of opportunity. We expect the resistance will be affected by the new climate, too, in their favor. Kusari will likely view them as expendable. Should they, somehow, wish to utilize you for their activities, expect the worst.
