Another band of graverobbers has just set up shop near the Flodden. It needs removing. Why Command refused to do anything about it until I saw it myself is something I'm sure we'd all love to know, but we'll have to make do with what we got.

I have a few crews lined up to deal with the problem, but the more, the merrier, as they say. I've been able to persuade Islay to offer a small combat bonus for any ship crews that show up with guns big enough to dent the station. Anyone who puts in some solid damage will be reimbursed for the ammunition spent and earn their cell an extra bounty of one million credits.

As we're all aware by now, the station is no more. During yesterday's assault, at approximately 02:40 SMT, the station suffered a catastrophic failure of... Something. We're not quite sure what actually happened when the rounds struck the station, but whatever it was, it solved the problem for us. The Rathlin is currently sweeping the area for any additional clues, but anything they find will be a puzzle for Astrophysics to solve.

Anyhow, with the station gone, the bounty is now closed. All outstanding payments will be sent out shortly. Well done.
