Missing Character - ryeguy146 - 06-04-2009 Well, I cannot find a character tonight. I logged onto my account and saw all of my normal characters save my Rheinland Military character, Johannes Meyer ( [RM]Fl.Johannes.Meyer ). He was there just last night while I was applying for a promotion in the RM, which I got. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it, but more information usually helps. And I don't see his name or any of my other characters' names in the sanction section. Can anyone help? I'd rather not loose the time I put into Johannes. Thanks, Ryan Missing Character - reavengitair - 06-04-2009 Try asking one of the admins.. might be able to sort you out. Missing Character - ryeguy146 - 06-04-2009 I suppose it would be best if I PM'd one wouldn't it? Missing Character - pchwang - 06-04-2009 I'm assuming that you name changed your character after your promotion. If that were the case, the server would have "booted" you after you typed in the /renameme command. If you did not log in afterwards, this can and will cause problems with your character, including getting it removed from the account. Missing Character - ryeguy146 - 06-04-2009 I actually was logging in to change my name when I noticed my character missing. But I'll make note of that when I rename characters in the future. But ya, that isn't the case this time. Missing Character - Cannon - 06-05-2009 I think the problem was caused by a server crash rather than the rename. The character is fixed up and it should be okay now. Missing Character - ryeguy146 - 06-05-2009 Thank you to everyone involved in fixing my character. I really didn't want to have to rebuild him and I appreciate your administrative efforts. |
