iTunes uses too much CPU... - Virus - 01-04-2007

I need a new media player. The new iTunes (though very pretty looking), uses over half my CPU. I need something that uses less so I can run it in the back ground and not have everything on FL look all choppy. :/

Any ideas?

Itunes....That player sucks.

Use Winamp, which is free and far more powerful than Itunes. Also, it uses little CPU. And by little i mean 2 - 12%. In my case it uses no CPU because i have a sound card that does all the job. That is, hardware acceleration.

I use iTunes myself because I use it for all my iPod stuff and I never have any problems with freelancer. The only time I ever did was when the Bete 7.0 came out or something like that and the music was all lame sounding when I ran it with another program. Its been fixed now though.

Verginix Out

WinAMP sux...It keeps trying to get me to register

Windows Media Player 11 is great. No lag...Sounds great...And I can minimise it easy when I want to change it.

Just get WMP 11...I say. Save the hastle, Microsoft does it all for ya:D

OK, 13 cents, man. I've fixed this problem. Not using winAMP. Seems I have a sound card similar to Korrd's I just had to enable something...

Did something with my graphics cards, too. Now I have both of them running at the same time!:D

Dual Graphics Cards! Yay!
Sound Cards!
