Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - n00bl3t - 06-05-2009 The BHG Core ID the BHG Guard ID? Also, is the Core ID available for purchase by anyone? Furthermore, can the Core ID escort others? Thank you. Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - Zapp - 06-05-2009 Yes, yes, and yes. I've seen Core ships escort our Nomad-laden transport from Delta to Cambridge. Anyway, thank you for the answers. Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - farmerman - 06-05-2009 I do believe those transports only take them to the Cambridge hole and not all the way. Though selling them to Atka would also make sense. Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - Zapp - 06-05-2009 Only capital ships (Destroyers and up) are limited to the Omegas, Omicrons, and Sigmas. Everything else can go anywhere normal BH can. Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - n00bl3t - 06-05-2009 ' Wrote:Only capital ships (Destroyers and up) are limited to the Omegas, Omicrons, and Sigmas. Everything else can go anywhere normal BH can. Well then, to amend my question, can a BS, BC and/or a Destroyer escort someone? Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - sovereign - 06-05-2009 Not into core systems. But I don't see why they couldn't escort, say, a transport laden with supplies for Dadaboru. Then again, if a P-trans flocks to you, you're out of luck (unless they happen to have BHG pilots... I think). Bounty Hunter Guild Core ID - carlabrams - 06-05-2009 Okay, here's the two ID's, for Guild Guard and regular Guild pilots. Quote:Bounty Hunters Guild Core ID (This is effectively the BHG Guard ID) Quote:Bounty Hunter ID Scenario A: BHG|Core-Grampus is escorting APM-Scorpio from Dabadoru. Grampus is a gunboat, and can perform this mission all the way from Dabadoru to Cambridge. They run into a pirate transport - the pirate tries anything, the pirate then finds himself wondering what happened to his ship. Scenario B: BHG|Core-Cerberus is escorting APM-Scorpio from Dabadoru. Cerberus is a battlecruiser, and can only escort up until the Cambridge jump hole from Omega 3 or Omeag 5. They run into a pirate transport. Cerberus is going to put his ship between Scorpio and the Pirate, so that the pirate cannot physically shoot Scorpio without hitting Cerberus. Oh, the pirate shoots first and hits Cerberus - pirate is then wondering what happened to his ship. Normally, however, we do our escort missions out and back with fighters, bombers, and gunships escorting. We've made several convoy runs out this way with no issues - because regular BHG tagged fighters, bombers, gunships, and gunboats are freely capable of doing this. |
