Discovery Achievements - Tic - 06-11-2009
Discovery Achievements
I got the idea from WoW, and thought it might be nice to have something similar here. I made this to give players a goal to achieve, while making a bit of money in return.
19 achievements to be completed, each brings a reward. Can you do them all?
Proof of completing achievements requires following:
-Screenshots or video-
-Timestamps: use the "/set chattime on" command-
Send the proof via PM, or post it here.
Each achievement can be made only once per player.
And here are the achievements:
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Commando"
Be a part of the team of five or more people that defeated enemy force which outnumberd it by 2 to 1. Everyone from your team must survive.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Keep the money flowing"
Earn one billion credits.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Saving the day"
Show up late for a fight and cover the escape of your fellow pilots without dying.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Got a death wish?"
Take a food shipment through Omicron Gamma while flying Advanced Train with BHG tag and ID. You must fly at least 3 k from 3 or more Corsairs.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Unlucky revolutionist"
Help SCRA win a fight and then get killed by them.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Nomad lover"
Get possessed by a Keeper.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Invincible"
Take out a battleship while piloting a bomber.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Captain on the bridge"
Take out 3 battleships in 3 on 1 fight.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Above the law"
Get a killing blow on [Admin] ship.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Disco freak 1"
Complete all achievements from group 1.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
Reward: 5 million credits.
Reward: 10 million credits.
Reward: 25 million credits.
Reward: 100 million credits.

Smuggle 3000 or more cargo units of Artifacts to Malta and 3000 or more cargo units of Cardamine to Crete.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Clean up"
Get 1000 NPC kills.
Players who have completed this Achievement:
"Mine is bigger"
Destroy a battleship while piloting a battleship in 1 on 1 fight.
Destroy a destroyer/cruiser while piloting a destroyer/cruiser in 1 on 1 fight.
Destroy a gunboat while piloting a gunboat in 1 on 1 fight.

Kill another player in a starflier.

Zeinstruktor and I did this in a Pirate Train and Luxury Liner (respectively) in 4.84. There was a Battleship outside Crete.
Sorry I don't have proof, but word of two people should be good enough.

Ok, i love the idea, but what defines a lulwutter.
and things like Kill an ally? Very annoying for poor allies in a fight.
Many of these could also be staged like the Starflyer one.
Other than this. Ill get working towards em:D
EDIT: Someone who sets out to go and Kill an [Admin] ship is either crazy or just plain stupid.

"Ninja Fighter"
Steal a kill against a capital ship in a Light Fighter.

The achievements must be completed after the date of the first post in this thread, that's why i need everyone to use "/set chattime on".
Achievements are already set to:
9 easy achievements
6 medium achievements
3 hard achievements
1 almost impossible achievement

I have about 19 1v1 battleship v battleship kills. Will post screenshots in a bit. Does thy mean I get the reward money times 19?

Why so late ? Seriously , i did alot of those achievements already , but i dont have proof... I did the first 5 and the "Mine is bigger" and the "Invincible" one. My Barghest blasted a LNS carrier. It was awsome. I wasnt alone though.

Because i'm givng rewards for 'what you will do' and not for 'what you did'.
Also for the "Invincible" it must be a clean 1 on 1 fight.
