This is Sam Stoker reporting live at Planet Cambridge:
Earlier this evening while on a diplomatic cruise to rendesvoux with SFBS-Magnificent Colonial One, the personal transport of the President of the 12 colonies of Kobol, was attacked by a Unioner bomber. The pilot, who refered to himself only as Vlad, infiltrated Cambridge space and penetrated SF, =BSG= defenses to the very planet itself where Colonial One was in close orbit. In a desperate escape, Colonial one entered the atmosphere of Cambridge with the Terrorist bomber in close pursuit. Scrambling Cambridge defenses drove off the attacker and Colonial one was allowed to land safely.
No demands or messages from any organizations have been made public yet claiming responsibility for the attack.

Earlier this morning the Colonial government was contacted anonymously claiming to be responsible for the attack on Colonial One. Voice scan and stress patterns have been recorded and are being analyzed. Demands for a war between Colonial forces, Sirius Federation and Reinland in an effort to destabilize house governments were made.
This Government has never, and will never negotiate with terrorists. Unlike our distant relatives of the Sirius sector, we have witnessed planetary destruction first hand and will not stand by to see it happen again by our own hands. The warriors of the Colonial fleet stand with Bretonia and Reinland at an elevated state of readiness for any attack.

In fact I have by no means threatened anyone either, merely, I have only informed you that New Berlin would no longer support life if Colonial One, Captained by none other than yourself, President engage all SF forces.
Also President, your political prowess has no compare, but your intelligence, I must question. I never stated that the BSG should go to war with the SF. I simply want Colonial One to attack SF forces...and I will reveal the perpetrators of this crime about to be committed against the people of Rheinland, and spare millions of lives...
Should you continue to refer to me as a terrorist...I will raise the bargain to attacking RM forces as well...
