The 1st Bank of Flax, with the help of a very generous and anonymous donor, is happy to announce the establishment of
The "Q" Memorial Trader's Fund
This Fund, backed by half a Billion Tons of Flax, has been authorized to assist Traders in purchasing their first trading vessel. The Donor has specified that the prospective recipients of the Fund be established for some time, be willing to trade regularly, and be a participating member on the forums.
These are not loans! They are to be disbursed with no strings attached other than the above stipulations by the donor.
If you are a trader, and wish to advance your capacities, please submit an application here.
The application should include.
Discovery Forum account name (will be verified);
Name of proposed vessel;
Type of vessel being funded.
Amount requested for purchase of new vessel.
This Memorial Trader's Fund is administered soley by 1st Bank of Flax. The Donor has given us final say in all disbursements. We appreciate the Donor's confidence in our judgement and services. We shall strive to fulfill the Donor's intent at all times.
Edit: Due to an amazing lack of response (over 400 Million in unrequested grants), the deadline for application is January 31st. At that time, any remaining funds will be donated to the Church of Eris. Come early, or stay home.

Hello bank! How are you, doing fine? I'd hope so.
Anyway, i'd like to say thank you to the Q traders fund. It really helped me, a lot! On account of when the Luxury Liner I was staying on landed on Manhattan, all of my ships had been repo'd, I only had a small sum to buy a starflier. When I launched back into orbit, I spotted a small new installation, I went to go check it out, had a few Crullers, (You might wanna put some fresh ones out) and I got 10 million credits. I was blow away, I went to go buy a trader, and went mining. Almost 3 times what I had, I have now!
