Ok so here's the problem, we are starting a new faction, on our private forum we had the main page with the info of the faction, and the recruitment page with info regarding recruitment only, when I was about to post here in factions thread, I merged the 2 pages, and received a message frome the leader telling me that he wanted it to be 2 pages, he told em to post the recruitment page in the faction section and the main info in the general discussions instead of doing it merged. Is it okay to post a faction page in general discussion?
I fear the admins will lock my thread *cries* :)
anyway how should we proceed, merge? do it my leader's way?

unofficial factions cannot recruit on the forums, if you want feedback on your faction idea put it here.

That's what i thought, but if I add the recruitment section in the main page info, can it be done? no problem with admins? no im not paranoid...:laugh:

You'll get your fingers tapped on if you try to post a recruitment thing without official status, regardless of where you place it. Past attempts to do so have pretty much all resulted in the thread in question receiving a lock.

Then again, someone sees the idea, expressed interest, you pm him, the ball gets rolling. Thats how you do forced recruitment.

Put a link in your thread to the recruitment section in your off-site forum. That's about all you can do until you are Official, I suppose.

I'm also starting a faction, and read something suggesting the first post for feedback should be in Flood.
