IMG Laffey Mission: 002
Mission Objective:
Java Station is receiving a large load of gold that is bound for the IMG shipyards in Tau-44. The 6 transports and their 4 escorts will be entering the Tau-23 system via the Kyushu jump hole. Due to its close proximity to the outcast base Cali the IMG Laffey as been asked to play decoy and attack their base. In doing so IMG High Command hopes the outcasts will be so preoccupied in stopping the Laffey that the transports will not be attack while on there way to Java. Commander Nemo persuaded IMG High Command not to order anyone on this mission, they instead asked for volunteers. All Crew Members volunteered to go. As per IMG High Comm orders, the IMG Laffey has 2 extra Firemen as well as 2 extra Engineers. These extra crew members makes IMG High Comm feel that it will give the Laffey a better then 50% chance to make it out alive.
