Number one is a Rheinland fighter that could be a reconnaissance craft or a replacement of the Phantom LF model. The CD, if one was placed on it, would be under the cockpit.

Number two was done at the request from someone to make the original Valkyrie cockpit, as can be seen here.
Neither are UVmapped or textured because I do not possess either of these skills.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'll probably remake the first one.

As for the second one... Removing the thingy on the bottom alone would vastly improve it.

It's not the "original"... or rather, yes it is, but both Valkyrie in game are the original. This one just has the wings fold - configuration it adopts in non combative scenario/cruise engine I believe.

The second one is pretty much the old Valkyrie that was going to be in Freelancer, as can be seen in the render, but was taken out before the game was shipped. It had its wings in a folded position and the cockpit was smoother.
And I'll agree, the first one is weird.

Actually, the folded winds IS the combat position. The folded position it is in now is the landed position.
