God Mode ? - Dwarano - 07-13-2009 I dont know if its a bug, or if its designed for everyone to be elite acer pilots who have played the game forever, but whats with the God Mode on lvl 10 + npc pilots ? Their shields take gigantique amounts of damage, they have about 500 shield batteries, and they shoot from the rear, side, front anywhere and hit bullseye even when your hooking around em with 200 speed.. Is it just me, or shoud it be easyer for a lvl 36 to kill a lvl 12 ? Edit: Perhaps im just meant to fly a freighter, never shoot anything, and spend my days beeing pirate food.. Just dont understand why normal opponents have to be so hardcore, leaving no place for practice.. God Mode ? - tansytansey - 07-13-2009 The level of NPCs is not relevant to the level of players. The level of a player is equal to their total wealth, where as the level of an NPC is equal to the level of its' strength. And in Freelancer, wealth =/= strength. NPCs over level 10 tend to be the strongest NPCs in the game. If you want easier NPCs to kill, then head in to house space, the NPCs are much easier to kill in there. God Mode ? - Dwarano - 07-13-2009 Thanks for the reply.. So i just need to stick with the ones below 10 then ? Hmm.. Maybe i should join the Liberty Navy or something, see if i can find someone who dont mind training me :P Played the single player game full out, but it sure seems the disco npc's have been tuned up just a slight bit, making practizing my skills an absolute must.. That would be hell having LULWUTTER NPC's Missile spamming in their gunships..... but good practice.... |
