Look - I know Xeno are the enemy of just about anyone else but I want to play my character with RP. I am writing this instead of 2 sanction reports to allow me to calm down and vent.
Twice I have been on the server today with my Xeno characters - First one this afternoon with Xeno-Stealth(I know not the best name but was one of my first) and I was engaged without any notice by a Liberty police ship who was then joined by another ship, freelancer I think and a prison liner!!. I believe the second ship said Engaging Xeno but that was about it. Now I fly an Arrow, LF, whos RP is based around Recon missions etc and trys to avoid engagement as I want to RP my being in system etc. Anyway I was destroyed and was a bit unhappy about the 3 to one, but hey that's life. I PM the guy who killed me who I think is fairly new and his response was I am police and you are Xeno, my enemy. I told him he needs to write an engagement notice in future and left it at that.
So I switch characters for a few hours and then come back on with my Xeno HF and proceed to the edge of the mine field near Newark. I start up some interaction with a Liberty Police ship who, fair play, doesnt steam in there and attack, but starts asking what I am doing etc. So here we are just getting some RP going, and low and behold I am blown to bits, right in mid sentence. Even the guy I am RP with says 'not cool'
And what Engagement notice do I get ' Varidian prepare to fight', Ok I hear you say, not great but better than 'Engaging'. However this is transmitted just as he starts firing, and boom, the only thing I can do is press enter, as I am in the middle of typing my RP with the other guy. Disappointing as the guy was level 60+ and I would have expected better, especially as it is clear from Local chat I am engaged in RP with someone else.
So I send him a message and the reply I get is 'what ure problem' 'I /text'. Hmm, Thanks for that
So anyway, can I ask all of you who spy someone at 14k who is red, and then at 10k realise he is a Xeno(or anyone else for that matter) stop and think! Is there anyone else around? Is there any local chat? If so what about? Is there an opportunity to join in with some RP! Wouldnt that be nice!!(Sorry still a bit cynical). If so go for it, rather than steaming in with an 'Engaging XXXXX' and starting some PVP. Try checking your scanner, ship loadout, ID etc. I fly an Arrow LF, 2 gunpoints which are both missiles, a class 8 shield and a Level 1 armor!. Seriously am I looking for a fight!
Finally to Arithza, thanks for giving me the chance to RP, no matter how short, rather than engaging as I am Xeno, and for asking me to come back after I was destroyed. Top bloke
And to the Guy, you know who you are, who blew me up, come on lets get some RP going, I love to talk!

Sadly, I expect they would engage me anyway and I would not have a chance to evade or flee! Got the arrow because I think it is cool, and I can fire missiles at storage tanks and Prison Liners, only for RP purposes, free my brothers etc. Never actually destroyed one!!

I've heard many Xenos RP throughout Liberty, even within 5K of my LPI...and they do it well.
If I see you, I'll be sure to keep this in mind, provided its just you and there isn't something keeping me busy [which there often is]...

Firstly
yes it sucks.
People should be looking to RP, not " you red, me green" (read, me tarzan, you jane)
That being said, yes, it sucks - however, it is par for the course when you get that "Xeno" tag on your ship, you are a target, a potential source of blue-message lulz, and while it is not ideal it is the path all Xenos... just as all Nomads must face.
The trick is, keep coming back, persist, soldiers of freedom never give in..... or something like that.

Ahh, welcome to the wonderful world of freedom fighters, where you are beset on all sides from the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. One minute you will be attacked by a LABC, the next - 3 OC gunboats. Let's not forget the BH bomber squadrons and the ever-popular 1BC,3 GB, 4 VHF hunting party.
My advice to you is to fly someplace WAY out of sight and spout your propaganda and RP. The universe is a vast place, and there are many places to be heard and not seen.

Try some of the following:
Don't stay stationary
Keep EKing between typing RP lines back and forth or around the area if you notice contacts appraoching.
Get a better Armor Upgrade
Get a Roc
Don't fly alone
Don't make RP too long
One of those should keep you from getting chopped up in a split second.
