Ok, i've got a character who just bought the Nomad ID, Morph etc.
The problem is whenever I try and leave the system the Unknown Gate goes "Access Denied"
How the hell do I get around that?

Correction: Nomad Trial ID, not Nomad ID, the two are different IDs.
Well, it happens that the gate was one way. You have probably noticed it was severely damaged, besides nobody gives you guarantees that damaged alien gates, or just any alien gate, is going to work as intended and both ways. Besides I heard Ageira representatives said there are no alien gates.
For now you can explore the system, look around all the noticeable objects around, may be you'll find clues and hints on how to get out from that place. Keep your eyes open, look out for anything out of the ordinary, suspicious, and don't trust your comms, they're largely useless around anyway.

I've sent out some hints and help to solve your problem, as I know its frustrating to get out of a system when you want to actually start roleplaying. Almost had the same problem as you, except I had extra backup knowledge.
