Mission Descriptions - Implosion - 07-20-2009 Ok,while I was doing missions yesterday in Alpha with my Battleship,I took about 5 or 6 worth atleast 700,000 Credits.Only two of them was with Destroyers. Today,I noticed I need 1 more bar to get guard rep with my bomber,and I took a 460,000 credits mission. When I arrived,I was facing 4 Bounty Hunter destroyers,shootin' 'em razors at my Falcata. Also,when I want to shoot down some Osirises in Eta,it's not that easy to hit the correct mission. So,why not to change the mission descriptions abit,like: From Quote:"Word from sector 6E is that there is a new infestation of scum there,this time it's the Bounty Hunter Guild" Quote:"Word from sector 6E is that there is a new infestation of scum there,this time it's some Bounty Hunter Guild Fighters/Destroyer or maybe Capital ships" Then again,that's just an idea. Mission Descriptions - Loop - 07-20-2009 This is very nice idea i agree with you :) Mission Descriptions - kikatsu - 07-20-2009 yeah that would be fantastic....no more taking assassination missions, only finding your target is in a destroyer however, the only changes to the mission discriptions I have seen from the mod are just changing the faction of who you are after.... does anyone know if that can actually be changed? or is it hardcoded like NPC ship's chatter? Mission Descriptions - Cellulanus - 07-20-2009 I don't think its really possible not because it's hard coded, but because there is no real way to predict when they spawn. Taking some anti Liberty missions in Bremen awhile back, it could spawn 30 Defenders or 5 Defender Mrk IIs, they are really randomly generated and the game views them both as the same. Mission Descriptions - Weedalot - 07-20-2009 there was a discussion about this already, when we wanted missions to pay more and say when you going to fight osiris BS's and i believe the answer was its imposable to make it, i cannot find the old topic but if it can be done, please do it would be great. Mission Descriptions - MarvinCZ - 07-21-2009 All attempts to differentiate between anti-fighter and anti-cap missions have failed so far. So, it is a good and desirable idea, but we can't do it. |
