Resource Pool for Capships - Drakaisyl - 07-21-2009 While drinking a nice,cold Beer,i had an Idea.;) Why can't we make a Pool with,well let's say "Recourcepoints".Every Fraction has the same number of RP.So if a capship gets destroyed in PvP,and only there,the fraction looses,well let's say for a Battleship 200 of the RP. At the beginning it would be not a problem to get a new Battleship for the PLayer,he lost his in a PvP battle.But as more the player/the players loose Battleships the RP will decrease steadily.So they (hopefully) think about,bringing her battleship in the fight. So far as i thought.The RP's can regenerate after a mount of time. One per day,ten per Week etc...only for example. The thought behind this is,bring more action in the fights...a few Battleships at the rear,giving fire assistant and good fighter fights at the front.There would also be a tactical element.For example: How many fighters are needed to protect the Battleships from enemy bomber etc. But this is only my thought.. A framework like this would help young, unofficial factions work out how many capships they could realistically field, as well as a reference point in House Wars to calculate remaining assets. THis thing makes it slanted towards indies even more. Indies Would be unaffected by this, and I dont think Factions wouldnt want Indies taking there caps either.... Faction would have NO caps if that was the case Resource Pool for Capships - Drakaisyl - 07-21-2009 Yeah...it is so,but when I had the thought,it was about NEW Capships,who are being given out of the fraction.And whith that Indies,well,i think every fraction has a leader,or two ore more...so why don't have to ask them before,if you,as a indie,want to buy a capship of that fraction ? The Fraction leader(s) can calculate if they give it to the player or not.If he doeas,it will decrease his RP Pool so he might don't have the points to give out a new ship to a not Indie player.So he can descide what he/they does/do,saving the Points for Not Indie Player or depend it in Indieplayer ?
