Ok remember the discussion about how bad it would be if New York didn't exist? Well, I made a mod using vanilla freelancer that turns New York into a nova remnant while preserving the system scale. I also wanted to have a little fun so I added level 18 outcast and level 18 corsair NPCs (who are accessing the system by Omicon-12 which is a lot like Alaska position and connection wise).
The only thing is you start in the real ny and are chased out by a nomad rep manhattan and mine field.

EDIT: i tryed it, and it was very interesting, I like how you put
*SPOLIER* freeport 7 in omeaga 12 *SPOLIER*
and how in the Remaints of New york system, how you put a
*SPOLIER* big blue cloud in the system*SPOLIER*
good job, dont like the lvl 18 sairs though, they kinda hurt:P
