The other day i was on a Kusari Police station in Hokkaido and actually listened to some of the rumors that go around in the bar. Now i don't have the screenshot but i would bet my right eye that there is a rumor that basicly tells you about how Kishiro will soon discover Jump Gate technology entirely. And so breaking Liberty's dominance of the Jump Gate construction industry through DSE.
Now, if this is true, i think Kusari would have their own funky design and twist they'd put on their gates. I'd always thought that human jump gates had been Libertonianised. It's an interesting idea if you ask me, and i'd like to see it go places.

Well , in my opinion every house should get there own Jumpgates/lanes. I guess Kusari is as good a place to start as any.
I can vaguelly picture the design in my mind already ... its very ... lulz inducing:P

Each house having their own base components and jumpgate style would be a nice change in the mod.
In terms of the storyline, there are many little things that Kishiro is missing out on, including the purchase of Osaka :(

H-fuel is taken there from the gas miners, then routed to its final destination. That was the purpose the base had when it was constructed by Samura. And it's a good thing then that the deal got canceled. Discovery would be a very dull and boring place if players couldn't influence server lore at all.
I like he idea of Kusari-developed jump gates, it would certainly offer some nice RP opportunities (Ageira being angry at Kusari and trying to lobby the Liberty government into placing sanctions on Kusari etc etc).

Kusari discovering the complete jumpgate technology would take the monopoly away from Ageira and actually end up cranking their economy up a gear or two.
On the note of design.
All Jumpgates and tradelanes are built using parts from Ageira. They all follow the same design probably for production purposes, why bother with variation?
The Kusari ones though, would provide a nice challenge to model.
