So as some of you may know, I've decided to start my very own Swiss Rp.

You can find it all here, I frequently add new posts with more info as well as edit existing posts with updates.

Now, this is all non canon Rp and is no no way following Vanila or anything. But hey, if the Coalition and the CR exist, then so can the Swiss haha!

So yeah, I have a backstory and the current goals and fleet of the Swiss. They're just trying to find a new home somewhere. Basically what I do in-game, is fly around Sirius scanning planets to see if they're inhabitable. If they, are, I'll take screenies and make an Rp post out of them and blablabla.

So far, I only have one ship, the Lucerne, (you can read about all the ships in the that linked thread) and I'm going to make one more fighter. Anything else I don't know about yet.

But yeah. just wondering how this is being looked upon and if anyone is willing to Rp with me in-game even though it has no freelancer canon back-up whatsoever:)

And yes, I should have done this a looong time ago, but hey, it's never too late:D

I'm up for some Swiss RP. Let me know where you are stationed and I'll try to go there.

There is one condition: I demand Swiss Chocolates!:D

The Swiss (feedback) - Tenacity - 08-09-2009

Nice RP, but it shows a distinct lack of knives and watches.

The Swiss (feedback) - Heartless - 08-10-2009

I'll figure something out with the chocolate, watches, and knives.

But a question, do any of you think I should put in some bombers too? I have 6 different fighters in the fleet, but no bombers so far. I didn't think they'd be necessary but what do you guys think?

edit: actually, do those 6 fighters I have set up make any sence? I'm not sure about the maurader, it just seems... off.

I have:

-arrow
-tigershark
-maurader
-kingfisher
-raven's talon
-virage

I had a battleship named confoederatio.helvetica once.

Zoner juggernaut. XD

If that makes sense to you. I suggest you make a flagship and call it the same thing.

The Swiss (feedback) - Heartless - 08-10-2009

you did?!?! how, why? And of course it makes sence to me haha.

But I figured I'd save that name for the planet or system or whatever and keep all ships named after the Cantons.

The Swiss (feedback) - cobraSting - 08-10-2009

I would recommend for the ships to be either generic Freelancer-type, so I don't know about the tigershark. Stinger perhaps?

Trying to shy away from Zoner ships would bring a new whiff of air into our roleplaying community. There are other ships that look cooler for a community or even a traveling city (I'm thinking - spyglass)

Ofcourse your ship wouldn't be the LH spyglass but something of a similar design. I am sure if you check with Moriarty and admin or two you could make a nice rp ship that does this.

I have always pondered on the tought of having a entire nation flagship in sky, and was thinking how to make it interesting for others. Because positive replies from others is what gives us pleasure to play on as well.

One of possible choices would be lack of docking codes, fear of contamination or something similar that forces your ship to interact with other traders rather than actually going to the base to trade. So buying supplies from the traders in space, and selling them to others somewhere else while you research. - first thing that hit me.

There's also forging alliances in game, or neutrality. And don't shy from entire sirius, I'm sure swiss was back in the day, still the neutral country rich with diplomats and cultural "goldmines"

Alot of factions would appreciate them, providing you know how to approach each of them.

Seems pretty nice, though it could use more knives, cheese, watches and yodelling. Not sure why the Zoners would be so eager to help out the Swiss, although there aren't a lot of other alternatives.

I have a Swiss character, Walter Gubelin, who flies the Schweizer Stolz (Swiss Pride). He's an independent smuggler, and upon reading this it could be said that he's rather estranged from the goals of his countrymen. Could make for some fun roleplay if he happens upon these guys.

Unorthodox, but I'm willing to see where this goes...

But please, stay out of Gallia. The Swiss are not there; you will only find harsh world and blazing guns... there are far too many Zoners there already.

Keep this up, SwissScorch. I really am intrigued.
