So I decided to log into my RFP and RP a bit, 15 minutes and the only two souls I see are two departing traders, who are obviously in a hurry to get credits.
I look at the chat menu, 122 people, where are all the players??
i took a pad and paper, tallied the numbers and made you this graph:

Who's idea was it to make any new systems? let alone a whole new house?!
Everyones in New York! lazily floating around typing theyre little chats, pirating, venting they're egos (a liberty speciality) or rushing around trying to herd all the pirates.
people flock to NY because of it's massive amount if players, ive even seen kusari destroyers and Gallic Brigand gunboats there because the people get so damn lonely boringly floating around rephrasing "2 mil R dai" for the sacred occasion someone appears on your radar that they resort to murderous OORP!
I once saw a Hogosha yelling out advertising to get out of liberty and tour Kusari, me and another Junker bullied him out of NY calling him insane. now i totally understand why he'd do that, resorting to great OORP just to get someone to occasionally RP with on your neck of the woods.
people are sick of OORP naggy PVPwhoring? I don't get that much, because i have barely any RP, even less PVP (which I suck at) because all the players are holed up in liberty!!
what kind of capital is it when you can yell "i have yellow apes in my rainbow socks" without getting a "WTF" or a "have you gone MAD?"

My trader operates out of Liberty. I've had more RP in Kusari and Bretonia than I have in Liberty.
My Rheinlander barely sees a soul in Rheinland.

The Taus mostly have more than that many players, but they're little so it's a tough comparison.:P
They still have too little, as well as Rheinland and Gallia, which is one of my huge regrets.

Thing is, you are probably at a time where times in rheinland are low...
90% of the time, there are more people in rheinland than there are in Kusari.
Then again, there is a time for trading in Kusari.

just a concept that should in no way be implemented, but think of the RP and gameplay if we destroyed everything but one house?
as you said 112 people, in about 5 factions... would we even need NPCs?
