I have bought a Liberty gunboat for use against other gunboats and smuggling transports.
I cant decide on the loadout
Currently I have, in order on the loadout screen.
x1 Liberty Fwd Gun
x2 Gunboat Battle Razor's
x2 Gunboat Pulse Cannon's
x1 Liberty Missile Turret
x2 Liberty Defence Turrets
On the loadout screen which turrets fire forwards and which fire backwards only?

All of them fire forwards except for the sixth and eighth slot down, which appear to only fire sideways and up (for 6) or down (for 8).

My gunboat has the loadout of:
1x Forward Cannon
1x Battle Razor
5x Liberty Turret
1x Liberty Missile turret
I personally don't think you need too many of the heavy weaponry (Battle Razors/Pulse Cannons) due to the forward cannon doing most of the damage. I believe you can fire it 3 times before your energy is gone and 2 of these gunboats did take out a cruiser. The missile turret is a maybe.. I'm sure it can be switched with another Liberty Turret or BR/PC due to its energy consumption.

On my LPI Gunboat I use (in order on loadout screen):
1x Foward Gun
2x Liberty Gunboat Turret
2x Battle Razors
2x Cerberus Gunboat Turret
1x Liberty Missile Turret
What I have experienced with this loadout its rather good.

Scrap the Razors, they do a heck of a lot less damage than the forward guns.
