Question about ship oorpness - sean24 - 08-16-2009

Would you consider a Junker tag and Id flying a Liberty Super transport oorp?

Question about ship oorpness - Beagle23 - 08-16-2009

If you're flying a Liberty Super Transport and you don't have a Liberty Corporation tag/ID, you're probably OORP.

Question about ship oorpness - sean24 - 08-16-2009

Im not, just thinking of. How I see it is- the junkers fly civilian ship but its not oorp for them to use pirate trains. So, why cant it work in the other direction to the liberty shipline?

Question about ship oorpness - JakeSG - 08-16-2009

Because Liberty shipline is owned by Liberty Corporations. Junkers are more on the unlawful side of things, and the Pirate Train is generic. Wouldn't surprise me if the Junkers had a large part in building them too.

The 3k one you might get away with, but not the 5k one.

Regardless of the OORP of ship + tag, you'd need either a Corp or Zoner Guard ID to fly one. Which would be OORP.

EDIT: Or Slaver ID.

Junkers have a history of meddling in the affairs of corporations, especially Liberty ones. Be clever, act like a Junker, and you would likely be able to sell me a reason for selling you a Mastodon.

Likely perhaps meaning possibly, which might be more of a possibility of a possibility, the possibility of which would need to be determined based on highly specific and individual circumstances.

If you try, I will be more than happy to play the corporate part in trying to prevent you from getting one, and potentially failing.

There is, of course, the technical problem of server rules, technology guidelines, and such. If you get past them, however, I -- as a player and member of this community -- will not pass judgement on your attempt.

The fundamental point being, I don't have a general opinion on the subject.

Oorp could be argued either way, but ID restrictions stop it from even being a possibility. :P

It's definitely getting close to it though, as Junkers and Corporations don't mix much. The smaller ones are seemingly more widely produced, so they wouldn't draw the same attention I'd think.

Question about ship oorpness - Janus - 08-16-2009

Junker ID doesn't allow ANY 5k.
