So I was thinking, you know how every single faction in freelancer has their own gun line, even some imports have them now, but house corporations don't?
Why not give corporate guns to the assorted house corporations? Everyone knows that house corps need love and hell, if the Xenos could make their own guns I'm sure these massive multi billion dollar corps could.

I tentatively say 'yes' but my only worry is having unique sounds and looks for each one as well as something to make the stats unique.
I'd almost rather see one or two types of civilian guns made specifically for each house, and the corporations of said house could use them.

While something unique might be hard to get, there are plenty of unused sounds and effects out there that are attached to lower level guns that could be used.

Maybe each house has their own Civilian line instead of each buisness having their own
for instance, Liberty has Ageira to build them, Bretonia has the BMM, Kusari has Samura, Rheinland has Daumann

The weapons dont have to Be named Like Samura "Dragonfire" Plasma cannon, there coud just be a "Dragonfire" Plasma cannon, and "SOmethingsomething" TAchyon weapons. Make em something like...... the small transturrets, About 2 per house?
EDIT: It is entirly possible for ALL the corps to have their own, Given the money at their disposal.

I voted yes, but only one per House. I think each House having a unique civilian equipment line would be pretty cool, and would help distinguish corporations from that House from other corps without them having to use the House military guns (which many do).
Alternatively, the current civilian guns could be made to not suck. Seriously, every House corp in Sirius uses them (or should, though as I mentioned above, many use their House military's guns), but they suck, and they suck hard. IMG have decent guns. Zoners have decent guns. GMG have decent guns. House corporations have crap.

Also, it's worth noting that I think that Ageira makes the Pulse/Debilitator line as one of their main weapons

I actually want to see the rumour that says this, since I'm pretty sure Ageira actually makes hand held weapons instead of ship based weapons.

I don't see a reason for every corp to have their own gun
I mean.... if they were sold on the public market, then every buisness in sirius would be an arms dealer
even Planetform, Synthfoods, ALG, and others that make no sense for them to build weapons
