The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - Drakaisyl - 08-19-2009 The Lost Ship The Recon Vessel The Black ASP was able to move undetected through Liberty Space to the California System. There they headed to the Coordinates near the Position of Willard Research Station. After reaching this Coordinates The Black ASP lunched several discovery Probes to locate the exact Position of the Station. After the Probes send the position to the ASP. Then the ASP deactivated the shields and the weapons and plotted a course to the Station. Because of not wanting to be detected she went there only on Sub light engines, which took her 9 hours to get to the position. She could have gone there with their Cruise engines but then the risk to be detected would be too big. After the 9 hour flight she reached the location in the defense grid around the Station, where a large Asteroid, who moved through the area from the field blocked the sensors of a few of the weaponplatforms. After taking position the small shuttle in the hangar started with a strike team on board to the station to get some classified Information and rescue a few captured agents. While the Shuttle was on his way to the Station, the ASP hold its position, waiting for the Shuttle. While waiting the ASP was hit by a smaller Asteroid, where she was hiding behind and took only light damage. But the impact even hit the reactor and so the energy came out of the breaks in the hull and began to warm the Ice asteroid, which constantly lost of his size. Luckily the shuttle could retourn just in time, when the asteroid was gone. But without the cover of the Asteroid the defense Systems were able to target the ASP and because of her powered down shields and weapons she was not able to protect herself. So all power was set to the sub light engines. Because of the hits from the guns, the Cruise Engines were temporary off line so the ASP was only able to fly on Sub light. Although the ship was able to send a message about the status and the approximately position. The objective is now,to escort the ASP back to Order Space and save the Data. The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - Pingu! - 08-20-2009 Sounds interesting. Mind giving us date/time please? The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - reavengitair - 08-20-2009 It sounds nice, but I'm not sure if the order would actually do that. Either way, Im interested. Date/Time? The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - ophidian - 08-20-2009 LSF and LN people can add something to this and we can have a nice capture the flag event, what do you say? The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - kikatsu - 08-20-2009 sounds like a rather interesting idea, and fun I think... rescue missions are always rather amusing I think but yes, get some LSF input on this there needs to be some more LSF/Order interaction/events I think @reavenitair what makes you think the Order would not do something like that? they are rather bold... recall the attack on the rheinland cruiser and their all out assault on Zone 21 (3 cruisers, a swarm of fighters and the Osiris...heck, Walker flew his cruiser right into a Dreadnaught) in single player the Order is rather bold, they don't screw around either. If they have a job to do, they'll do it, no matter what. The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - Aazalot - 08-20-2009 Whats it worth Credits wise, im not one to do chaitable Escorts The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - carlabrams - 08-20-2009 ' Wrote:Whats it worth Credits wise, im not one to do chaitable EscortsLet's put it this way - if you're in the Order, then you're doing this because Higher Command ORDERED you to do this. Welcome to ROLE-PLAYING events... And of course, if you're in the LN/LSF, you're responding from all sorts of places, possibly in a piecemeal fashion as opposed to a co-ordinated attack because after all, you didn't know this was coming. Pirates, Rogues, and such - you're just out and about because you are, and probably going to be running to another quadrant to go loot and pillage since all the cops are going to be in one area. Xenos - you'd be wanting to kill the Order as well. Lane Hackers - probably be trying to get the information yourself. BHG - well, your response would be MONEY!!! Mercs and such - you're probably NOT going to be involved one way or the other, although a Freelancer probably could do so on EITHER side, just because he's a Freelancer, and doesn't give a darn. The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - kikatsu - 08-20-2009 Agmenatwork brings up a good point, getting the hackers involved would sure make things alot more interesting I think Who knows what they would do to get their hands on information that came directly from Willard? Heck.... there's a crippled Order ship there, if I was a hacker I'd jump on the chance and try to get her computer core. Oh wait, I have a Hacker C: I suggest contacting the Hackers as well for this.... this could really turn into something worthwhile The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - Pingu! - 08-20-2009 What about date and time? Maybe saturday when most ppl are online? 20-22 hrs gmt? The Lost Ship (Order event in Liberty) - hack - 08-20-2009 Anyone thought about contacting the LPI? |
