Time paradox? - Rowly - 08-22-2009 was reading the wiki today and saw that apparantly the outcasts and corsairs have had a bitter hatred for each other since they landed on crete/malta however there is a rumor type thingy on a corsair base in Vanila that say that they will quite happily sit in a bar together sharing a mutual respect for each others piloting skills etc. and that the only cause for conflict is territorial disputes ... so where did this whole war come from? an alternate reality? Time paradox? - carlabrams - 08-22-2009 They will sit in a FREEPORT together - just as Bounty Hunters will sit across from Corsairs and Order pilots without actually reaching across the tables and ripping their throats out - and vice-versa. However, if they meet somewhere OTHER than in a Freeport, then it's kitty bar the door, because there's going to be extra organs for sale by the Zoners from at least one of the parties involved. Time paradox? - Benjamin - 08-22-2009 Rowly: Sounds like one of those times where an interesting situation has been smashed in to black and white by disco! Time paradox? - jammi - 08-22-2009 That's exactly what happened Ben. The Outcasts and Corsairs never had any real animosity in SP; just business was business: if one of them ventured into the other's territory, the home party would cap the other. Discovery was the one that blew turf-war it into total-war. |
