Well, it won't come up on sensors, so you gotta keep your eyes peeled, if it helps, it's in the big particle cloud.

it shows up on scanners for my junker, but that's because I had the character and had discovered the base before it was moved =)

I went in single player to show you it and where it is. There is a 'hole' in the cloud on the map. Put a waypoint in there, F2, see the destroyer, and that's that.
