Random Poem I just made - Sidewinder - 03-15-2007
I do not know why I made this poem, given I am not a fan of poetry but for some reason it just came to me. Anyway it does some references to freelancer so I figured I would post it.
The Mirror:
The man scanned his gaze across a crowd. There he saw a man tall and proud.
But the stranger was dressed in gold, and the man in blue.
And his stare shot right back though. His face was scarred, and with smoldering eyes.
But both men and seen the same people and told the same lies.
Both kept staring and staring, long overdue.
And walked right on though
The crowd of strangers and turned out of view,
But both realized there was a mirror, always looking back at you.

Wow, I quite like that! Was that a 'spur of the moment' kind of poem?
Alas, it matters not. That's a (explicative) good poem...
I wish I could write that well...

It is very shallow, but deep at the same time...i think.
Analyses aren't my stong point.
