Where to get Freelancer online? - silverleaf - 08-30-2009
So far, the only pay to download sites I've seen are rentals (goodness knows how that works). Yes, its cheap and only costs 10 bucks, but I'd rather pay 20 for a download. Why I'm asking this all of a sudden? Cos I know someone who may like this game and wouldn't feel so nice making an illegal copy even if its a dead game.

Those are not pay to download. Can't afford shipping seeing I'm all da way in aus. Also, one site is offering the download at 165mb, how could that possibly be true?

Perhaps bytes per minute, considering 165 mbs. a second is impossible without a godlike internet connection.

This. You dont need the CD to play freelancer, just let him install it with your CD and then he can play fine afterwards... the only problem arises when he needs to reinstall for whatever reason.
