Greetings,

On the urging of my Taskmasters, I have decided to find a small, encrypted channel on the edge of detection. If you can access this channel, either you have been given the decryption methods by a Vagrant Raider, or are an intruder that has hacked her/his/its way into my business. If you are of the former, welcome. If you are of the latter, I will have Mr. Fierceshot hunt you down, skewer you on a ten-foot pole and have your remains hung out for display in Manhattan Square.

Now onto business.

Sir, Taskmaster Dwight Novak reporting in.
Today i made my way from Magellan to California to make some cash.
But before i could find a single worthy target to hand over some cash i get a hostile contact on my scanners.
It was a Freelancer though the hostility that the scanner indicated might be because of work for lawful forces.
And my suspicions was confirmed when the dog fired on me without any prior warning.
And who am i to disappoint? I engaged the target and one of my mines finally destroyed him after several minutes of fighting.

Here is an image captured by my gun-cam of the moment of destruction.

Though as i was done with that target a new one appeared, yet another Freelancer that wanted to collect a bounty on my head.
This time it didn't go as good as the last, I'm ashamed to say that my ship was to damaged to the fight prior to that one and my ship was destroyed.

That's i what i had to report, sir.

Sir, its Novak again. I have new information to report.
I was going to Cortez to pick up a weapons order to fit on my new bomber and
on the way i catch a Navy pilot flying around under the name Kurt.Pravus.
I engaged the pilot inquisition and he was utterly destroyed, here is the log entry.

After that i made my way to Cali, and what do i see there? Two Liberty Rogue ships
and a Corsair fighting it out. So i though that was strange and offered
to help out, but they said they could handle it so i just stayed and looked at the fight.
It ended when the Corsair fled from battle. After that the Rogues left and the LSF and
Navy pilot (that was also there looking) ordered me away from there.
But i stayed and had a chat with em and then two fellows showed up to aid me and another
one showed up to aid the Navy and LSF pilot. After i refused to leave once more they engaged
us, we fought bravely but was at the end destroyed by them scum.

Congratulations on your accomplishments Mr. Novak. Every Navy, Police, and Bounty Hunter pilot shot down could be considered a victory.

I sent scouts out immediately after receiving your message. They were able to recover the remains of your ship and brought it back to the Metropolis for a refit. It should be ready to go in a little under four standard hours. Keep up the good work.

As a reminder: all sightings of Outcast Tridente Gunships, Storta-class Destroyers, and Sarissa-class Battleships in Liberty are to be scanned, the identification and IFF recoded, and the information sent to myself.

Fierceshot here... I'm reporting the destruction of many vessels that were unwise enough to get on my bad side. As you said my lord... every downed fighter is a victory.

I started off my mission in Liberty with my usual routine... find a tradelane and raid ships. Before I could get settled, a hunter caught my scent. He tried to collect a bounty on my head. I exterminated him like the scum that he was. You know how much I hate the hunters overlord.

As I was venturing towards Pittsburgh for my routine collection with the miners, there were reports of a large group of Xenos operating within the system. It did not take me long to stumble upon one.

I regret to say that the Xenos got away... and that I was not successful in recovering the pilots. I was delayed from his hunting.

An LSF fighter tried to slow me down... to his demise. However, I later learned that the Xenos was in fact downed by a Hacker... so the pilots were rescued, although not by my hand.

I also had a run in with the Mandalorian Mercenaries for the first time... I wasn't impressed. I called in David Hailstrom for backup, as it was a 2 on 1 fight. The pilots must have been rookies... damages were minimal, and the targets were quickly destroyed. David Hailstrom left me after the encounter for business elsewhere.

Shortly after he left, I came across a trading vessel. At first I was going to let him go... hardly looked like he could support himself, however he alerted my presence to the Liberty forces. It was his last mistake. I quickly crushed him and fled the scene before anyone could show up.

My last report... is possibly the most crucial of all. I spotted a Corsair gunboat operating within New York. Although the vessel had me outgunned... I couldn't sit by idly and let him go. I scanned his cargo to find Rogues and Outcasts. Luckily... and as much as I hate to admit this, a Liberty officer in a bomber happened to fly by. The Corsair had his pilots as well. We joined forces to take it out... but I wasn't going to let the Officer recover his pilots any time soon. I quickly snatched them after the gunboat decided to take his oqn life and selfdestruct his ship in the atmosphere. The officer was taken aback... I don't believe he expected my sudden snatch. Naturally, he demanded for their return... but I knew that someone, somwhere, would pay quite a handsome fee for their heads. I also knew that the officer was weakened after his encounter with the gunboat, and wasted no time taking him out.

To put it short... 2 Liberty pilots down, 2 hunters down, 1 Corsair down, and 1 arrogant trader down. My Guncam shots will appear in your console after this transmission. All in a days work Overlord... Fierceshot out.

Ahem, Alexa here.

Right, so. On to business. Flying around with my itty bitty little raiders has been quite a.. task lately. *she laughs* Heh. Right.. I have several bits of information that I'll be sending to the Metropolis Databank over in Vespucci along with this transmission. Systems indicate the info-tunnel is stable, so large quantities can be sent safely.

I encountered an rather.. large Artificial Intelligence unit outside of Alcatraz the other day. Shortly after, more important events took place that required immediate attention. *cough* Cardi OD *cough* Petrucci. Hmm.. seems as though I'm getting some sort of cold.. I'll have MD check it out.

I spotted these two Navy vessels while on an intercept course to a Navy gunboat patrol. They quickly realized hostile action would lead them to an end, so they left radar distance with only one warning.

Right. This little.. *cough* bugger. After having engaged us with no prior warning he threw quite a surprising card at us.. Systems warned of a warping of the space flux around us, when he suddenly disappeared. We're not quite sure what happened, but we're working on re-constructing the scenario recorded by scanners to see if we can reproduce this effect to be used in further emergency situations. However, all attempts so far have failed, and we don't see it happening in the near future.

We'd entered New York when we ran into unexpected hostilities. The hostile targets were quickly dispatched, and we continued on.

Greetings fellow Raiders. After approximately a week of reconnaissance missions where no contact to the Raiders' comm channel was available, I returned to find myself in a somewhat tense situation.

Immediately upon accessing the Raiders' comm, which at the time the Hellfire Legion were sharing for fast information relay, I was greeted by calls for help from the New York to California Jump Gate. I immediately went to assist the Hellfire legion who's comm signature I had picked up.

Upon returning to standard flight on the New York side of the jump gate, I noticed (and it was hard to miss) a Liberty Cruiser firing upon several Legion bombers and fighters. I immediately announced my arrival, and moved to assist. I landed several SNAC shots and participated in the final barrage of gun fire that did the cruiser in. Unfortunately my guncam was acting a bit faulty after its long term of non-use, so no images are available.

At this point, the Legion ships divided, and three were left to continue some operation which only they knew of. I offered my services to hack lanes and shoot down Navy. They accepted.

I hacked open the nearest trade lane, and we headed towards a liberty base, but as we came to a stop at the end of the lane, two Liberty gunboats moved to intercept us. We quickly dispatched the first with a concentrated barrage of SNAC fire from the four of us. The second had a more skilled captain, and multiple uses of my Inferno were instrumental in keeping his shields down long enough for one of the HF boys to land a SNAC.

The Legion pilots then loosed a stream of Nova torpedoes at the station. I hacked the lane and we fled before reinforcements arrived.

We then launched several Nova assaults at various Liberty military institutions.

Heading towards Planet Manhattan, we were joined by a Hacker who expressed interest in the destruction of Military property we had participated in so far. Upon arrival at Manhattan, we were intercepted by multiple fighters, and the situation quickly became a turbulence of gunfire. The legion fighters and myself concentrated fire on targets while the hacker ran interference, picking fighters off our backs. In this manner, no less than seven fighters were destroyed. Then the LNS Capehorn gunboat arrived with more fighters. We attempted to destroy at least the gunboat, and were succeeding despite the captain's brilliant piloting of the craft, until a second gunboat arrived. The hacker and Legion squad leader were immediately destroyed. Me and the other HF attempted a withdrawal. My ship was destroyed, and in the confusion of the ejection process, I lost track of the others.

The total tally for the day was:
1 liberty cruiser
2 liberty gunboats
7 liberty fighters
1 VR bomber (replaced)
1 Hacker fighter
1 HF bomber
2 HF bombers (assumed destroyed)

A bit late, too.

The transport known as Falling.Sun did as he was told, and brought us five thousand units of Niobium. I gave ten units of this niobium to a certain... Shade. He has information that Petrucci will find interesting.

Repairs to the CENSORED are progressing much faster with a large resource of raw metals at our disposal.

Right now, the Metropolis is in the middle of Magellan, wide and exposed. But, with a secure relay to the Overlord, so the risk is worth it.

Still no sign of Alexa. I have successfully made contact with LaBrie, he's been a busy man. I've updated my business with Falling.Sun. Jimmy is coming in the Be.Good.At.It.. hopefully we will be able to launch longer-range operations without leaching off the Freeports. Ms. Zachary has arrived in Omicron Eta, as I dictate this log, she and the Warlord are finding their way across the Eta system into Omicron Theta, where they will meet me here at the Freeport.

Still no word from Commander Mori. The man has an extremely annoying answering machine as well.. No word from Donna Dejesus as well about the Destroyers, either.

I will rest, then continue on my journey.

Raiders: My orders are to keep up the search. We need to find Alexa. You also are to continue to gather metals for the project for the science fair. If you manage to procure some, talk about it here.
