Hi I am using the Discovery 4.83, and I have discovered a couple of texturing problem with ships, like the Taiidan series all have no texture on them and are completely white, the Bounty Hunter Destroyer being completely invisible and the Talon doesn't show on landing pads or during landing scenes on planets.
Is this normal for the mod or do I need to config the game somehow?

I think you might need a better graphics card or driver, the BHG destroyer is complex, the taidan ships are white ut still have a texture, and the talon I dont know.

Utopian, go to settings, then performance.
There, crank up your detail settings to the max(using the topmost bar, it will auto adjust everything else). Then you should see the ship's details.

I'm on a two-year-old Dell XPS laptop. I play FreeLancer on it just fine. I do ship modelling on it, just fine. If it's specs could be considered high-end two years ago, it's likely capable of handling this. In fact, the game's 4 years old. Keep that in mind.
