So, what do you have to give to this community? Suggestions, ideas always are nice you know.

As for me...I have a few ideas which need to be formulated a wee bit better for them to be posted tho, but it is something ill post here eventually.

1) A redone mining system.
2) Finish my welcome aboard package to give a broad array of tools to new joins in a friendly and simple format.
3) Simplify the forum to ease its mazelike qualities and restructure the same into a more logical shape.
4) Simplify the nature of the rules so as to reduce the number of sanctions coming through. (Yes, I understand the small measure of irony there. Temporary measure)
5) A good time.

A new plugin for FLhook for our server.

/info

/setinfo would allow players to give a brief discription about their character. By targeting the ship and entering /info, it would be displayed.

This would allow more interesting encounters, when "//Check my forum rp" can be avoided, instead, allowing the player to allow others to see a description of the character he is loged on in-game.

More frequent mod updates.
I don't mean release the same amount of stuff sooner, I mean release the same amount of stuff but over time. Yearly updates both seem a bit long to wait for and also jump the roleplay of things ahead quite a bit, with major changes suddenly taking place.
One day on the server it's one year with all the usual things. The next day it's the next year and suddenly New York has become a giant slug.

Incremental updates essentially instead of massive things every once a year.
Makes sense from both a gameplay and roleplay point of view.

I'm content with how mod is updated. Its not like someone is getting paid to do their job.
As for me...
Guiding roleplay, encouraging factionization (possibly not making up new but joining existent), encouraging solid roleplay, removing stereotpyes, balancing RP and PVP..

basically it all stays on words and actions i can take personally.
I am an Overpirate of OPG so I can make changes there, and I did.
I am a member of Corsair faction so I can make improvements there as well.

I tried to develop some sort of gambling system, have few games but dealing with it gets heavy sometimes, especially when 4 players lose at same time 2 mil each, staring at you.

Basically I do what I can and whats within my grasp.

As for developer / mod thing, I would like to see developers tone down power requirements on capital ships, and then reduce their power too.
Right now 12 tizona turrets cannot drain out a gunboat for longer than 2 seconds. That should not happen. Not at all.

Guild wars style updates! Monthly! Hurrah! Exclamation point after sentence!

I can cut down on gankings of lawful targets, and hopefully cutting down counter-gankings.

I can report Lolboats to the 101st and hopefully have a death-squad come in to clean up Outcast Destroyers mucking about in Liberty:P

And I can show just because my Spyglass isn't an official Lane Hacker Spyglass paid with the blood of 4-years pirating doesn't make it a Lolglass (New one:D)

Hrm , what have I contributed to Discovery? I dont know , I'm just the general joe schmoe. I write some forum RP , I let it play out ingame, try to be fair , understanding and a good old backstabing prick on my Junker:P

Hmm... what have I contributed?...

A donation to the server, some ideas for the development, RP advices and ideas, contribution to Rheinland and the RM, and the ALG Waste Disposal faction.
