We have all seen the Imperial Fighter wrecks in the Sigmas and Omegas, we know they died in a state of War, i have been reading about War Grave laws and wonder if they should be considered as such and thus by the owner's Law *This is speaking for all House-Owned Wrecks **Liberty VHF, Rheinland Wrecks...** * if they would be considered War Graves and thus looting them a punishable act. (Sorta like the U-Boats which were sunk were considered "War Graves" and plundering them a criminal act for "Disturbing the Dead's Resting place")

I want to know your opinions if they should be considered as such or not.

GMG|GFS-Ayakashi-Maru is the result of "looting" a wargrave. Same can be said of the Namura wreck in Omicron-85 and the soon (hopefully) dockable Daishouri for Sigma-59. The original Taiiden bomber's infocard itself said that it was developed by GMG from a wreck they found. We also as a faction have nearly 80 Codes from wrecks. So as a GMG player I can say with confidence that we "loot" wargraves.

A very interesting thought. If nothing else, the exact schematics of such a vessel are state secrets, so Rheinland obviously wouldn't be too happy if some random Liberty trader came across them and started poking at it for salvagable parts.

Furthermore, codenames are so classified that only their code is known, so clearly these too are state secrets.

If you mean RP punishable, as in against house laws, then i think its a good idea, it would make a lot of sense as well for armed forces to want to respect their dead, and for others to resepct them also.

For the case of the Sigma wrecks, there isn't anyone to punish GMG for looting them. In essence the Yanagi field belongs to us but I assure you ALG and Junkers do the most looting as they are the ones cleaning the mess up :). Helgoland is a temporary instalation set up for that purpose, in RP I'm sure ALG intends for more ;)

Indeed Monte, in real life, you get caught looting a sunken Warship (Like a German U-Boat) your charged, convicted and harshly punished, i would think that most houses would have something like this, especially those with GREAT pride in their Navies like the Rheinland Navy or the Bretonians.

That.

It makes perfect sense.

But now I see the GMG as vultures...
