Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - Ash - 09-04-2009 Now Bretonia's claimed Orkney as Bretonian sovereign soil, what do the Council think about that? They can't be jolly well good can they? Home soil for the Bretonians allows them to patrol any systems around that home system unless i've missed an ID rule somwhere. So technically they could enter Languedoc? Whats up with that? Topic Altered Clicky Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - cobraSting - 09-04-2009 Orkney is not a Bretonia home system. There's no Bretonian bases in there. Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - BaconSoda - 09-04-2009 In Roleplay, us Bretonians try and claim it as ours. It's kind of like Denmark claiming Greenland. They don't do much up there, but, it's technically ours in our book. Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - Banza - 09-04-2009 This might help... http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...mp;#entry687847 ...or not. Orkney is claimed by Bretonia, but it is hard to control something so beyond supply line. So, its all left on Outcasts and IMG...and the Council. Reason why would anyone want to claim so remote system is...trade. Control trade routes, and you get few coins in return. Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - Linkus - 09-04-2009 Back in the day, there was and currently is a large council player faction. When it attempted a treaty with Bretonia, it got flamed to death. These sort of things were included in that treaty. Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - Ash - 09-20-2009 Revived. But i'd like to alter the question a little alongside Link's post. As some of you already know, the council unnofficials have agreed to trading terms with the IMG. But the big million dollar question is, Kusari and Bretonia. If they take a side they get sucked into another war they don't want. If they don't then Reunion get's turned into Remoulins due to it's neutral status. Orkney will pretty much turn into a warzone as both Kusari and Bretonia will have a base to launch from. Ups :$ I'm sorry: Post #391 I could not resist, but to light up another torch :) Kusari, Bretonians and The Council - Unseelie - 09-20-2009 Mod Says its a bretonian system. Igiss says we can't say that, as he screwed up, or some such nonsense. Sure, we can't get to it, same way we can't get to the BMM base. Which means that yeah, we can get to it, Its just mildy tricky. Like, say, avoiding the Leeds/Tau 31 gate. Reunion is one base, set up in some sort of mystical and ridiculous plot hole, where nobody ever noticed the HUGE MINEFIELD...amoung other things. In addition to that, there's no offical faction to talk to, and if we tried, we'd get flamed for powerplaying if we claimed space we couldn't literally lay boots on the ground in(so, every once in a while, we patrol the place, these days). Anyway, go read the thread, then take note of Xorias Signature, then take note of my signature. |
