I've given some thought to making a trader that is Order tagged and ID'd, to act as the start of the order's own trade convoys, supplying us from zoner/corsair/hogosha bases across Sirius. However, I'm at a loss as to what ships would be best for the job.
The Order ID allows transports and does not specify a cargo limit, so that's not something I'm concerned with. However, I'm likely to be flying through systems infested with BHG, nomad, and wilde NPC's, not to mention the plethora of other factions who are blood red hostile to the order.
So, I need something that can easily get away from NPC's, that would likely denote a train... but I want something that will be able to fight back when it needs to as well.
So, any suggestions?

The Pirate Train jumps to mind, good handling, good hold, and able defenses for when you need to lay into someone.

Why not using the Raba? The Hogosha ships should be possible to fly by Order pilots. From what I have heard it is a very decent ship.

Order is green to Liberty Civvy tech (strange), and to Civvy tech Sirius wide, so I guess generic trains come to mind. I had the same idea, and decided to make an Order large train. Since it's sold on IMG base, my guess would be that an Order pilot would be able to obtain one.

The Raba is an armoured transport, with 1,800 cargo space.
I know people use them to great result.

Hm... only shortcoming is that 1,800 cargo, would prefer at least something in the 3k range. Other than that, I just tried out the raba in open sp and it's a pretty nice ship, if one with a weak powerplant.

Hmmm, Maybe a Liner of some sort? they are good against NPCs and not much else
