RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Cyberanson - 09-20-2009 ![]() Quote:It has 5 turrets (5 to front), CD and CM. Huge kudos to Doom, Jinx and frozen for helping me with various stuff. Thanks a lot! Some more impressions: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Jinx - 09-20-2009 ship is solid and by the looks of above average quality. - the hardpoints attached ( 5 guns ) appears fine - as well as the suggested agility / size. of course - players on the server will not really move troops with it - but it will be used as a generic lower capacity transport for anything that makes money. - good model - i m sure it ll get into version 4.86 edit: i m still a bit distracted by that brighter triangle on the ships "forehead" RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - tansytansey - 09-20-2009 What's the meaning of the name? Is it German? I know who Hercules is, but I figured there's a specific reason you spelt it with a K. All normals are correct and after unwelding it still appeared. I don't know how to fix. ' Wrote:What's the meaning of the name? Is it German?'Herkules' is the German spelling of Hercules. I thought it is a suiting name for a ship of that kind. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - schlurbi - 09-20-2009 Looks pretty nice. Can you make a Screenshot of it from the Side, with the Sun in the background? RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Wuselkobold - 09-20-2009 This looks great! :ylove: I hope this will be availiable for the unlawfuls too? Looks like a decent small ship for cargo piracy too. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Colonel.Tigh - 09-20-2009 Its simple, it looks rheinlandish, its something new, i like it. put it im:) RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - elgeeko - 09-20-2009 ' Wrote:ship is solid Good way of describing it, it looks like it belongs in Freelancer, and like it belongs in Rheinland. I like the engine styling/positioning especially. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - Cyberanson - 09-20-2009 ' Wrote:I like the engine styling/positioning especially.Thanks. Most recent development of the ALG engineers. My next model will have a similar propulsion. RMTV-352 "Herkules" - Rheinland Troop Transporter - 11of10 - 09-20-2009 Impressive ship, completely Rheinlandish! As for the triangle, I may be wrong, but I used to have similar problems in 3ds max, while I was using it. Try the equivalent of following: open the wire frame, you'll see that both the squares (four polygons, four triangles) are made in the same fashion, with a diagonal line, creating the triangular polygons, going from top left to bottom right. In 3DS there is an option to "rotate" it... try similar... so the one in the right square, which is currently shown as "white" that is, sticking out" goes symetrically to the one on the left, that is, not from top left, but from top right to bottom left. That should help, I think, if it can be done in whatever modelling software you are using. |
