Back in the day the Battleship licence was range of 1200m (Which i didn't see a difference between thta and a 200m range) And a scan range of 5k thats been dropped to 4k.
Now i don't see why. Why on earth should a Fighter/Bomber/cruiser etc. Should have the same range as a battleship. On a Battleship they would have entire halls filled with radar equipment and people monitering the surounding Space. So I think we shbould move the scan range of a BS to 5k+ Even 6+ i think is reasonable.
Thoughts?

However, a confession for the cave, I never knewa BS license was a scanner:P
But your right, extend it a little, it seems to have enough RP to back it up.

Seeing as there is "Battleship Licence", why don't we make "Cruiser Licence" "Gunboat Licence" "Bomber Licence", meh, I mean, there has to be some test you have to take before flying!
Then we can make that seperate from IDs and Scanners.

Indeed, the perhaps the name should be changed on that. Battleship 'License' just doesn't do it, in RP. Perhaps, Advanced Battleship Scanner ? It would still be required for all battleships. Also, wasn't the Spyglass scanner replacing the BS license ?

I do not know what is more disconcerting.
A semi-request thread for BS scanners to have their range upped transmogrifying into an anti-independent restriction thread, or the fact that it could be seen coming.

I think we should just do away with the battleship license now that Battleships are no longer limited to one per person. Bump up the price of battleships iff need be, but the license seems a bit pointless.
