I really dont mean to complain, but this is getting a bit agrevating....I live where high speed internet is UNAVAILABLE...that means dial up for me and a 6 hr or greater download when the mod "upgrades"
PLEASEEEEEEEEESSS folks a little mercy......let one run untill we get the final situated.... or maybe only "upgrade" and change stuff like every 6 months.....this is getting a bit ruthless mates......Im sure I aint the only one who has this problem....if I am....ignore me...
CCX will be back when the mod no longer says "BETA" in fornt of it....

Well mate sorry to break it but...if it were every 6 months people would go crazy...and it is unfair to ask the entire community to bend to your request. I mean Igiss could just release small patches to add everything but that would be a pain in the butt. We are all probably sorry that you are having a tough time DLing the mods. But there is nothing to be done.

Yes. The beta process might be seen as long and annoying if you have dial up. But it is necessary to ensure that the Discovery mod follows the highest quality standards possible.
I don't enjoy having to redownload the mod every 1 month, but be patient. The full version will be out soon.

Ah beta, the bane of dial up ... Bet you download other things you feel necessary though.
No beta, no mod unfortunately. Then again would you rather have it stay the same, or have the bugs around ?
Hassle your ISP provider, took me two years to get it because, quote: "You are too far from the exchange"
I'm in the sticks too. I have had it for a year and a half now, and watched all my friends get 8 meg connections.
Me, I have a slow half meg still, and no sign of an upgrade.
Stick with us please, find a little time to do it. Worth it in the long run. You aln't the only one either ...

what internet speed t oyou get takes me between 2-4 hours and i often can't get on the server cause my nets so bad

Not to brag but it doesn't take me too long to get Disco, maybe 5-10 mins, but my ping is horrible with the server where it is (~200ms most of the time). And I'm running 1536kbps (1.5mbps) downstream. While I'm not too thrilled I have to download new betas all the time either, it helps with the development as a whole.
