So, I just finished my Driver's Education class, and, in my total nerdiness, applied it to Disco. I was thinking that each house, in RP, would likely have some form of pilot instruction/testing before they can grab a starflea and take off. What I'm planning to do is set up a ship with a [Student.Pilot] prefix and flying it around New York as a crazy sixteen year old. For example, I speed (thrust) and get pulled over by the LPI. My character can then be lectured or ticketed or whatever. It'd also be pretty cool to fly the Corsair "initiation run" with an underlevel, unshielded Corsair light fighter. I don't know how it'd work in other houses, though.

Thoughts?

well i always kinda figured that on small ships, you are driving but on the bigger ships you are the captain, the XO flies or whatever their codename is

That would be funny. I think I'd like to do that.
