As some of you might know, introduction of new systems will require us to clear the user database. All accounts and characters will be lost without any chance of getting them back.
So, what's more important for Discovery? Preserving the 5-months-old user database or introducing new systems? Waiting for your feedback.

If making new systems need to clear all player accounts , why Crossfire got always all its player's accounts even though Crossfire has made a lot of new systems ?
I mean , there is probably a way to make new systems without lost all player's info/accounts !

In case of Evolutions it's otherwise. This depends mainly on updated map info. If we are intended to make the systems as good as original ones, wipe will be essential.

Can't we do a post where everybody make a list of all his characters specifications (ship and money) ?
The problem is that will be very long and boring job...

Would we be able to get our money back? because buying the ship and equpiment is easy but making the money to buy it is harder.
Still even if we cant get anything back i'm still going to go for the new systems.

I'm gonna go for new systems. If its possible I like the idea of a thread where we could post our name and stats. Maybe not all characters but each person chooses one and everything involved with that character gets transfered to the new one. I know you need to do a wipe, but a thread with all our info; like Profile said, is a good idea. In the end I'm for the wipe and new systems.

i think we could get more systems and start from scrach but as ever 1 has said we need to make the money wich takes ages so yes but as long as we get our money back
